Classwork Assignment: Text pp. 243-247 Chapter 5-1, #1,2,5,6,8,10,12,14-19,20.
Homework assignment: Worksheet 5-1 on the back of the warm up sheet.
PLEASE!!! Wear you uniform colors only, and have ID on a lanyard. Also remember to bring your textbook, your looseleaf binder with looseleaf paper) and 2 PENCILS!
Period 3

B Day FIRST DAY OF THE 3rd QUARTER!
Tuesday
Periods 1 and 2 Accelerated Algebra 1
Following the warm up, students took the 2nd benchmark exam.
Homework:on the flip side of the warm up. Students must use looseleaf paper to complete the word problem and attach it to the warm up sheet.
Remember ***** You must be in the PHS uniform, have your ID evident in front of you, and bring your textbook, binder, and 2 pencils to each class.
Period 3 Mathematical Studies IB Diploma Program
Today Mrs. Dennard distributed the grading criteria for the Internal Assessment(IA) papers, and reviwed the requirements to achieve full points with the class. The students were given a paper submitted by the 2008 class for review and discussion.
Students were given a firm warning about not showing up for class the day a paper is due. WE SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE THE TIME FOR ANY STUDENT TO BE LATE WITH A DRAFT, AS IT DELAYS THE WHOLE CLASS FROM BEGINNING THE PEER REVIEW PROCESS.
Your paper will receive a 5 point penalty per day if not received by me - either in class or online- by the due date! Also please make 2 copies for class use.
Homework: Intro section for Unit 5 on Geometry and Trigonometry in Oxford text pp 530 - 535 Ex. 5.1.
Complete your reading of the IA reference material.
