Periods 1 and 2 Honors geometry, grade 9
Objective: Students will learn to use segment and area models to find the probabilities of events, in order to find the probability of winning a carnival game. Following the warm up, Mrs. Dennard asnswered questions about the homework before beginning the new lesson on geometric probability.
Assignment: Text pp 402-405,#1-8,10,12,14,15-22.
Homework: Text p.696,#1-24.
Next week:
Quiz on Tuesday 7-4 through 7-8, and Chapter review.
CHAPTER 7 test ON THURSDAY.
Period 3 Pre-Calculus IB, grade 11
Objective: Students will solve problems using addition properties of logarithms in order to solve real-world problems. Following the warm-up, students took the scheduled quiz on logarithmic functions. After lunch, Mrs. dennard began the next lesson on properties of logarithms and curve fitting.
Assignment Sullivan text pp446-458,#1-32.
Next week Quiz on Wednesday - Chapter 6 TEST on Friday.
