B Day

Periods 1 and 2 Accelerated Algebra 1
Objective: Students will solve multi-step inequalities with variables on one and two sides. Following the warm up, Mrs. Dennard returned the work done by students on Tuesday (Practice 3-4) so that students could complete the page. Stdents practiced a few more problems in the text as well.
Assignment: Complete Practice 3-4 and in the Text p. 156-157,#40-46.
Homework: Text p. 704, #2,5,8,11,14,17,20,23,25,26.
Any classwork not completed in class today was permitted yo be done at home, but must be turned in at the next class on Monday.

Period 3 Math Studies IB
Objective: Students will demonstrate skills in solving problems using trigonometry and geometry. Following the warm up, the May'06 Paper1 was collected, and the quiz was distributed. After lunch, Students woked on evaluating ther own IB paper. This work will be complete tomorrow.
Homework: Text H&H p 342, Investigation #3.

TEST on Topic 5 next Tuesday BE PREPARED!!

A Day

Periods 1 and 2 Honors Geometry
Objective: Students will use relationships among sides and angles of parallelograms in order to solve real world problems. Following the warm up, Mrs. Dennard answered questions about the homework, and students practiced problems on p 298.
Assignment: PP 298,#24-33 & 37.
Homework: Back of Warm Up Worksheet 6-2.
There will be a brief quiz on CH 6-1 and 6-2 on Quadrilaterals on Friday.



Period 3 Math Studies IB
Objective: Students will continue to work out the problems on the May 08 IB Paper 1Following the warm up. Students worked on the exam for 2 years ago.
Assignment: Complete the May 08 Paper 1!
Quiz on Geomety tomorrow --- Unit 5 TEST next Tuesday, March 23.
