B Day

Periods 1 and 2 Accelerated Algebra 1, grade 9
Objective: Students will solve problems using exponential growth and decay models in order to solve real-world problems. Following the warm up, Mrs. Dennard taught the exponential decay lesson. Students did practice problems, and were given an hour to work on their 4th quarter projects. The projects are due on Monday May 24!
Period 2 did not meet today due to HSA testing.
Assignment: Text pp 441-442, #16-30, and 32-46 evens.
Homework Chapter Review # 1-49 evens only.



Period 3 Pre-Calculus IB, grade 11

Objective: Students will solve eponentia;l and logarithmic equations and real-world problems. Following the warm up, Mrs Dennard played a DVD on properties of logarithms, then students were asigned a quiz on work done over tha past 2 weeks.
No homework this weekend.
NOTE::: I will tutor on Monday and Thursday next week, I cannot stay on Tuesday, May 25.

Next weel Bitzer text 4.4, 4.5 and review for test on Thursday.
