Periods 1 and 2 Accelerated Algebra 1 grade 9
Objective: Students will solve problems using compound inequalities in order to solve real world problems.
Following the warm up, students completed Part 3 of the Algebra HSA Pre-test.Then, Mrs. Dennard taught the compound inequalities lesson, and students began work on the assignment.
Homework, Text pp 163-164, #1-23.
Quiz on 3-1 through 3-5 on Tuesday (next class)
Period 3 Math Studies, IB Diploma Program
Objective: Students will solve problems using currency conversion in order to prepare for the IB Math Studies exams on May 6.
Homework: Oxford Text, Ex.8.2 and 8.3.
Quiz on Monday on 8-1 through 8-3.
