B Day

Periods 1 and 2 Accelerated Algebra 1, grade 9

Objective: Students will evaluate exponential functions; and graph exponential functions in order to solve real-world problems. Following the warm up, Mrs. dennard taught the new lesson, and students began work on their assignment. Period 1 was especially long today due to HSA testing, so 1st period students worked on projects that are due on Monday May 25.
Assignment: Text pp 432-433, #1-24, 34-36.

Period 3 Pre-Calculus IB grade 11

Objective: Students will calculate logarithmic equations including change of base and exponential curve fitting. Following the warm up. students worked on the assignment. Students absents on Friday did not complete the quiz, so it was extended to be a take home assignment. There will be a larger quiz on this Friday.
Assignment: Sullivan text handout: pp4510459, #33-44, 49-56, 57-69 all.
Homework: pp457-459, #71-75.
