A Day 12/6/10

Period 1A Geometry grades 10-12
Objective: Students will use a transversal in proving lines parallel, and relate parallel and perpendicular lines in order to use real-world connections. Following the warm up, Mrs. Dennard answered questions about the homework, and retaught lesson 3-32, using Daily Notetaking Guide sheets. Grade sheets and graded papers were returned to students today.
Assignment: Text pp. 126-127, #16-25.


Period 4A Honors Geometry Grade 9
Objective: Students will classify triangles to find the measures of their angles, and use exterior angles of triangles. Following the warm up, Mrs.Dennard answered questions about the homework, and taught the new lesson.
Assignment: pp.134-136, # 1-30.

There was no Period 3 Math Studies class today due to a field trip.

B Day 12/3/10

Periods 1 and 2 Honors Geometry, grade 9
Objective: Students will use transversals to prove lines parallel and relate parallel and perpendicular lines in order to use real-world connections. Following the warm iup, Mrs. Dennard took questions on the homework, and students took a brief quiz on Lesson 3-2.
Homework: Text p. 691, #1-12.


Period 3 Math Studies IB Grade 11
Objective: Students will demonstrate skill in solving problems of bivariate data analysis in a brief quiz. Follwoing the warm up,students put homework problems on the white board, Mrs. Dennard answered questions about the homework, and the Quiz was distributed. Students had the remainder of the class to complete 4 of the 5 problems on the quiz.
