B Day

Periods 2 and 4 Geometry
Objective: Students will recognize conditional statements and write the converse of conditional statements in order to read an advertisement critically. Following the warm up, Mrs. Dennard taught the new lesson on conditional statements. Students worked on several guided practice problems with each part of the new lesson.
Assignment: Text pp 71-74: #2-32 evens;p. 73 #49,52,and 54-48; and on p. 74 # 64-67.

Period 3 IB Math Studies
Objective: Students will calculate Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient (r) and r squared in order to analyze two data sets in an electronics factory. Following the warm UP, Mrs.Dennard answered questions on the homework, and explained the new lesson. Students worked on some guided practice problems before receiving the assignment.
Asssignment: H&H text pp. 590 Investigation.
